INTRODUCTION: Everyone gets 30 seconds to introduce themselves and their company at every meeting except two. Those are our annual meeting/breakfast in the fall, and our meeting at the Jacobson Culinary Academy at TSHS in the winter.
DOOR PRIZES: If you want additional exposure, door prizes are always welcome. They can be about your business or just an excuse to get up and let people see your smiling face one more time.
COST: This is a very expensive group. It will cost you $1.00 each time! Rusty Bellies is our sponsor for the coffee. Our goodies are either provided out of the collection of the dollar at each meeting OR you may be the sponsor and bring the goodies. For this, you get to speak for 10 minutes instead of 30 seconds and you can put your literature on each table instead of the collective table.

The League of Women Voters of St. Petersburg invites you to a memorable evening of art, history and wine, benefiting organizations working to keep guns off campuses.

Mingle while you sip beer and wine, enjoy an array of epicurean delights, and tap your feet to live music - all to the backdrop of the St. Petersburg Museum of History's floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the waters of beautiful Tampa Bay.

We have joined forces with our local creative community to present rousing interactive art, and an auction of visionary artwork highlighting the importance of gun safety and the devastation of gun violence.

Special appearances by Mayor Rick Kriseman, City Council Representative Lisa Wheeler-Bowman and Dr. Marjorie D. Sanfilippo of Eckerd, who will be honored for her extraordinary work to keep guns off campuses.

We hope you will join us in raising funds for the League of Women Voters of Florida’s Gun Safety Action Team and the Campaign to Keep Guns Off Campus in their tireless efforts to stamp out gun violence and keep our communities safe.
