Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo is the #1 Family-friendly zoo in the USA _{(named by Child Magazine).} For the young and the young at heart, the zoo offers enjoyment for everyone!

Free-flight aviaries- more than 80 bird species make the aviaries their home. Feed the birds in the Lorikeet Landing. Keep your eye out for tiny deer and monkeys too! Experience the zoo’s newest free-flight aviary, Sulawesi. Themed after the Indonesian Island of Sulawesi, the NEW Sulawesi Aviary will immerse you in the animals, plants, and architectural beauty of Southeast Asia.

Primate World- Swing into to Primate World where monkey business is a daily occurrence.

The Florida Boardwalk-From land, sea and sky, you'll be amazed at all the wonderful creatures that make Florida home. Feed Stingrays!

Wallaroo Station a family-oriented Australian animals section featuring a huge water-play park, pony and mechanical rides.

Florida Manatee & Aquatic Center - With compelling views from both above and below the water see up close Florida's beloved manatee. You also have the ability to see into the hospital area and talk with keepers about what they are doing to help protect and save these gentle creatures.

Safari Africa- It's a jungle in here! The ultimate African experience in Tampa Bay . See some of the finest natural wildlife at close hand-- elephants, zebras, warthogs, White rhinos, cheetahs, pygmy hippos, okapi, and more-- in the largest addition to the zoo in it's 16 year history! Ride camels, feed giraffe and visit "Tamani" the elephant baby. Also, go for a ride on the new behind-the-scenes Safari Ride ($3 per person). Visit the new Penguin Beach for a "waddling good time" with our new flock of African Penguins!

Asian Gardens- Clouded leopards and tigers and bears, oh my! Get up close to the many rare and endangered animals in the Asian Gardens. See the tiger frolic in the water. Take a look at the tapirs-- among the most primitive herbivores. Laugh as the Sloth Bears play. Look at a leopard and all her spots.
